Underground utility activity near Kinsmen Building begins Sept. 3

Kinsmen Building

To locate a leak in the underground steam supply system near the Kinsmen Building, a contractor will be excavating the north side of the building. The work will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 3, and will last approximately three to four weeks depending on what is found.

Access to all buildings in the area will not be impacted by this closure. Chilled water, cold domestic water, hot water and fire protection water will not be impacted either.

When travelling throughout the construction zone, please watch for and obey all traffic signs and/or traffic control personnel. The contractor performing the work will be available to direct pedestrian traffic.
