On Nov. 20 and 21, two caissons will be drilled at the south end of the Pan Am Athletics Stadium site to support the new scoreboard. The work will take place between 7am and 5pm.
The walkway on the north side of the Steacie Science & Engineering Library will be closed to pedestrian traffic during the installation. Signs will be posted and pedestrians are asked to use the Campus Walk on the south side of Steacie.
While the work is underway, there will be construction-related noise and vibration. An engineering expert will be at the work site to ensure safe operating procedures are in place.
