York University’s Glendon shuttles are all dressed up in a new “this is my time” wrap. The shuttles have been transformed into mobile ambassadors for York University. The wrap shows a Glendon student on one side and another York University student on the other side.
York University’s “this is my time” campaign also scored top marks in Twitter during the week of Oct. 2. The campaign hashtag #yorkumytime ranked as the top Toronto trend in the Twitterverse, a first for the University says Robin Edmison, associate director of marketing & creative services in the Communications & Public Affairs Division. “This is a first for York U because of our new method of sharing when students enter the current student contest for a chance to win free tuition,” she said. “They have an opportunity to share the contest on Facebook or Twitter, and by doing so, they get two additional entries for sharing. “
As a result, the campaign has recorded more than 3,000 shares, (including those by future students, who have an opportunity to enter a different contest that closes in June 2014).
