The Founders College Book Sale offers a perfect antidote for winter blahs.
Staff in the Master’s Office, together with their team of volunteers, have been collecting books for more than a year in preparation for this sale. There are thousands of new and previously loved books in the offering and all have been donated by the York community. In addition to mysteries, popular fiction, self-help tomes, textbooks, cookbooks and biographies, there will also be reference, language and books for all student needs.
Some of the items donated are brand new and haven’t been taken out of their plastic wrap. There are also a number of real finds – rare and antiquarian books that are well preserved.
All books are priced between 50 cents and five dollars. Not only that, but you get one free book for every two books purchased.
The book sale will be held in the Founders Assembly Hall, 152 Founders College, between 10am and 6pm, until Friday, March 15. Be sure to stop by!
