The Schulich French Toast Breakfast in support of the York Cares United Way Campaign will take place Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 8 to 11am, at the CIBC Marketplace in the Seymour Schulich Building.
In addition to regular French toast, a gluten-free option will be available. French toast will be $2 and coffee or tea $1.
The final participation draw extravaganza will take place at 9:30am during the breakfast event for those who submitted their United Way pledge forms by the Friday deadline and pledged $1/week or $52/year. Prizes will include two tickets to anywhere Air Canada flies, donated by York grad John F. Bankes (LLB/MBA ’77); an iPod Nano, donated by Data Integrity; a York University golf bag; and “Lunch for 2” at the Schulich Executive Dining Room, donated by the Schulich Executive Learning Centre.
There will also be draws for a gift certificate valued at $25 for Michelangelo’s Cafeteria donated by Michelangelo’s; a gift certificate valued at $15 for the Orange Snail donated by the Orange Snail; and a gift certificate valued at $10 for Country Style (Kosher) Deli.
So far the campaign has raised more than $161,000 with a nine per cent participation rate.
The Schulich French Toast Breakfast is sponsored by the Schulich Executive Learning Centre and The Promotion Specialists.
