Introducing York University’s first Learn at Work Week

Join Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) Oct. 1 to 5  for Learn at Work Week, a series of special events highlighting some of the many learning opportunities that are available for all York employees.

A variety of workshops will be showcased during Learn at Work Week. One-hour presentations are planned throughout the week on the following workshops:

  • Embracing Change and Transitions
  • York University’s Sustainability Initiatives
  • Strengthening York University’s Brand
  • Mental Fitness
  • Managing Your Stress
  • Employee Assistance Program: Mental health awareness for all
  • ASK Office 2010 Experts
  • York University’s first Celebration of Learning Event

Celebration of Learning Event

The culmination of Learn at Work Week will be the inaugural Celebration of Learning event. If you have completed a degree, diploma or certificate program from a registered post-secondary institution during the past year (fall 2011 to summer 2012), or one of your staff has done so, complete the online application form and attach a record of achievement.

To submit your information for this recognition event, go to https://hr.apps01.yorku.ca/machform/view.php?id=18 and log in through your Passport York account and complete the online application form by Wednesday, Sept. 19.
