The Sport & Recreation Department is once again offering a number of women’s only fitness programs again this winter.
The department has partnered with the York Federation of Students on this project to reduce access barriers and give women the opportunity to work out in a comfortable environment.
Women’s only fitness hours are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 4:30 to 6:30pm, in Studio 3, which is a converted squash court that has stretching mats and cardio and strength equipment available. A female fitness centre attendant will also be present for assistance.
