At the ratification meeting held on Thursday, Aug. 18, at the Tait McKenzie Centre gym, members of the York University Staff Association, Unit 1, voted 94 per cent in favour of a new three-year collective agreement.
“Congratulations to both bargaining teams for their efforts in reaching an agreement in a collegial manner, representing the pride and values of the York University community,” said Sharon Hooper, York’s assistant vice-president, human resources and chief human resources officer.
