YUFA ratifies a three-year agreement with York University

At a ratification meeting held on Sept. 17, the membership of the York University Faculty Association (YUFA) voted overwhelmingly in favour of renewing its collective agreement with York University for a three-year term, 2009 to 2012.

YUFA membership ratified the negotiated agreement with more than 80 per cent of the 554 total ballots cast in favour.

"We are very pleased that the faculty association has ratified this agreement," said York President & Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri. "I want to commend YUFA for its constructive approach in this challenging fiscal environment."
