Fitness programs at York are making new stops on the Keele campus this week, just in time to get into shape as the weather heats up outside.
The “Fitness Comes to You” Fit 4 Life Employee Program is launching tai chi at Vanier College. A free demo class is available on Tuesday, May 12 from 12:10 to1pm. The demo offers individuals the opportunity to experience what tai chi is all about in a convenient location. The course is taught by Master Helen Wu, a highly reputable instructor with a lifetime of experience in practicing and teaching Chinese movement and therapeutic arts such as tai chi, chi kung and kung fu.
A variety of free demo fitness classes for employees are also beginning at the Student Centre every day this week. Employees can choose a package of any circuit, cardio tae boxing or yoga classes and create their own individual fitness routine to suit their needs during lunch hours.
