Early-morning stabbing incident reported at Founders and Steeles

Toronto police are investigating an incident which occurred on Friday, Jan. 23, at approximately 4:30am at Founders Road and Steeles Avenue West.

It was reported to police that a 21-year-old male was jogging through a parking lot when a man approached him and began to stab him. The victim was able to fight off the suspect, who fled in a northwest direction towards Steeles Avenue West. The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police describe the suspect as follows:

White, 5 feet 7 inches, with a thin build, brown beard and moustache, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
