The University is gearing up for York’s 2008 United Way Campaign. This year’s goal is to raise $200,000 in support of the United Way of Toronto.
The 200 community-based agencies and programs that make up United Way’s network play important roles in the daily lives of many individuals and families in need throughout the city. Now more than ever, the need for support is critical.
If you are interested in becoming a United Way canvasser in your office and/or on campus, contact Yvette Munro, manager, community relations at ext. 77529 or by e-mail to ymunro@yorku.ca no later than Oct. 30. Canvassers will be invited to a lunch hour mini-training session.
