The 2007-2008 schedule, unveiled June 13, sees the Lions playing five of their first seven games at home, including Friday, Nov. 23, when the McMaster Marauders face York in a rematch of the 2007 Ontario University Athletics championship. The Lions went a perfect 13-0 at home last season.

York will meet the Queen’s Golden Gaels, who lost to the Lions in the OUA East final last season, on Friday, Jan. 11, at Tait McKenzie and on Saturday, Feb. 2, in Kingston, Ont. The Lions have won the OUA East title each of the past two seasons.

York caps the season with four road games, however the final two games are just a short ride away – at the University of Toronto on Friday, Feb. 8, and at Ryerson University on Saturday, Feb. 9.

The Lions will look to advance to their third consecutive Canadian Interuniversity Sport National Championship, March 7-9, at the University of Saskatchewan.
