Osgoode/UBC clinical program sends two participants to monitor trial in Chad

Nicole Barrett, director of the Joint International Justice and Human Rights Clinic at Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law, and Osgoode student Eleonore Gauthier were in Chad from Jan. 10 to 19 to monitor the trial of 21 former state security agents of the 1982-1990 regime, which is said to be responsible for 40,000 political killings and systematic torture.

Team Schulich wins the 2015 MBA Games

The Schulich School of Business at York University defeated teams from 21 other Canadian graduate business schools to win the 2015 MBA Games — it is Schulich’s sixth MBA Games victory since 2003. The win returns the Queen’s Cup to Schulich along with the right to host the 2016 MBA Games next January.
