A new, full-year capstone course is being pilot tested this fall at York University. C4: The Cross-Campus Capstone Classroom brings together third- and fourth-year students from different faculties into multidisciplinary teams focused on solving pressing, real-world challenges posed by organizations operating in both the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds.

Lions alumnae Khamica Bingham and Brittany Crew will compete for Canada in track and field, while current Lions Pierce Lepage and Asia Hogan-Rochester will compete in track and field and rugby sevens competitions respectively. Recent York graduate Haya Jumaa will compete in karate, and current student Jason Ho-Shue will compete in badminton.The Pan Am Games run to Sunday, Aug. 11.

A global audit and survey of cardiac rehab conducted in York University’s Faculty of Health showed that cardiac rehab is available in only half of the world’s countries, and the programs that do exist can only serve 1.65 million patients, leaving a gap of more than 18 million patients in need.
