For the eighth year, the Faculty of Environmental Studies (FES) at York University will host a golf tournament supporting the Adrienne and Donna Pocock Memorial Award and guests will be invited to tee off on June 22.

The memorial tournament, which, to date, has contributed more than $20,000 to the award and has supported 43 students, will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Shawneeki Golf Club at 18543 Woodbine Ave., Sharon, Ont.

The $140 ticket includes green fees, power cart, a barbecue lunch, dinner, prize table, great raffle prizes and a $10,000 hole-in-one chance, with $22 from each ticket sold directed toward the fund.

  • sponsoring a hole for $100 – and in appreciation, your name or the name of your company will be prominently displayed at a hole;
  • participating in the 50/50 putting contest;
  • providing an item for the prize table; and/or
  • donating directly to the fund, online or at the tournament.
