Celebrate #YUSpirit at Red & White Day, Oct. 4 at York University

Students show off their spirit in advance of Red & White Day on Oct. 4

The York University community is invited to show off its #YUSpirit on Red & White Day, which will take place Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Keele and Glendon Campuses.

Red & White Day is an opportunity for the entire University community – students, faculty, staff and alumni – to show York pride and celebrate the connectedness they share.

Come to the “mane” event! The Lion Pride Reception will begin at 12 p.m. in the CIBC Lobby, Accolade East Building (ACE). The reception includes student performances, a fashion show, a photo booth, giveaways and more.

There are several ways community members can show off their #YUSpirit and get involved in Red & White Day:

  • Wear red and white or York gear.
  • Enter the #YUSpirit Photo Contest.
  • Shop the Bookstore sale (Oct. 1 to 5): up to 50 per cent off branded merchandise at the Bookstore and Vari Hall Pop-Up Shop.
  • Check out the Tait Pride Shop sale (Oct. 4): 10 per cent off York Lions wear.
  • Take advantage of free giveaways and vendor discounts.
  • Check out the food trucks on Campus Walk and at the Glendon Manor.

The day will be full of exciting events and activities, including the York U Campus Alumni and Donor Breakfast, residence decorating and more!
