In order to accommodate necessary upgrades and repairs to the Campus Steam system, there will be a 14-hour shutdown of the Keele Campus steam and hot water systems on Saturday May 26, from from 6:30am to 8:30pm. The interruption in service will affect both the hot water and heating steam supply to buildings. The upgrades are necessary to ensure the reliable production of heat and hot water.
Every effort will be made to keep the outage as short as possible. Buildings that have domestic hot water tanks should retain some residual heat.
The following buildings, which have flash units, will not have any domestic hot water during the shutdown.

- Vanier College Residence
- Winters College Residence
- Calumet College Residence
- Pond Road Residence
- Passy Garden Apartments
- #340 Assiniboine Road
- Atkinson Residence
