The world of course materials is continually evolving. To help community members cope with these changes, the York University Bookstore is hosting its 12th annual information and training session on ordering course materials. This event is recommended for new staff and faculty and offers a refresher for veteran staff and faculty.

The information and training session will be held on Thursday, April 5 in Room 305, York Lanes. There are two sessions available, the morning session will run from 10 to 11:30am, and the afternoon session will run from 2 to 3:30pm.

The actual information and training component is about one hour. Thirty minutes has been alotted for a Q&A and discussion. Light refreshments will be served and information kits will be available to take away.

Textbook and course kit staff will be available before and after event presentations to offer personalized advice to faculty and staff.

Faculty and staff interested in attending this event should RSVP if they can to Michael Legris by email to mlegris@yorku.ca or by calling ext. 22078. Submitting an RSVP will help the Bookstore staff with planning, however, last minute guests are always welcome. Bring your colleagues along!

The York University Bookstore Roadshow

To accommodate individuals or groups that can’t make it to the sessions, or those who wish to discuss their department or individual requirements, the Bookstore has created a Roadshow.

The Bookstore Roadshow will be tailored to your request and held in your faculty. For more information or to make an appointment, contact Michael Legris by email to mlegris@yorku.ca or by calling ext. 22078.
