The Crossroads reading series event will take place Jan. 27, from 4:30 to 7:30pm in 001 (Renaissance Hall) Vanier College. Established writers and students will be reading their work. They will also speak about their experience in the publishing industry. This is a must-attend event for anyone interested in CanLit, the publishing industry and the directions of literature in the era of digital technology.

The presentation includes York University professors Bruce W. Powe and Patricia Keeney, independent publisher David Hull of Dumagrad, The Writer’s Union of Canada’s Mary W. Walters, Word On The Street’s Justin Lauzon, Wattpad’s Nick Uskoski and Inspiritus Press and pioneer of English cell phone novels, Steven Takatsu. The event will take place in the Vanier Renaissance Hall (VC 001) on Jan. 27, from 4:30 to 7:30. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a book sale.
