The York University community is invited to show support and encouragement for current and former Lions athletes representing Canada at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games by signing special cards for each of the four athletes.
Students, staff and faculty can visit the RED Zone in Vari Hall this week to sign cards from Friday, Aug. 12 to Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 10am to 3pm.
The cards will be delivered to each of the athletes to congratulate them on their outstanding achievements.
Cards have been created for: Lions thrower Brittany Crew, Lions boxer Arthur Biyarslanov, former Lions sprinter Khamica Bingham and former Lions taekwondo competitor Melissa Pagnotta.
