Presidential Search Committee issues a notice of community consultations

Outside Vari Hall

The Presidential Search Committee is responsible for the search for York University’s eighth President and Vice-Chancellor. As part of the process of developing the mandate and position profile for the University’s next President and Vice-Chancellor, the committee members would like to hear from as many members of the University community as possible.

The committee invites University community members to attend a community consultation to share their perspectives with committee members. The first consultation has been scheduled for:

  • Tuesday, March 22
    10:30am to 12pm, 1 to 2:30pm or 3:30 to 5pm
    The Halliwell Centre
    Osgoode Hall Law School
    Room 1014, Ignat Kaneff Building
    Keele campus
  • Thursday, March 24
    9:30 to 11am or 12 to 1:30pm
    The Ballroom, Glendon Hall
    Glendon campus

Additional dates and times will be published once arranged.

The members of the Presidential Search Committee have prepared a series of questions to consider in advance of the session (or for use by community members who would like to prepare a written response). The questions can be downloaded as a PDF that is now available on the Presidential Search Committee webpage.

Written responses to any or all of the questions should be emailed to: yorkupresident@caldwellpartners.com.
