Modification to Common Diversion Road sidewalk and hoarding at York University Station site

From Tuesday, Oct. 13, until approximately Friday, Nov. 13, the pedestrian sidewalk width will be modified to five metres on the east side of the Harry W. Arthurs Common to allow for utility work connections at the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) York University Station site. TTC buses will not be offloading passengers to the eastern sidewalk adjacent to the Common Diversion Road during this period. The inbound and outbound TTC transit routes and bus stops remain the same.

Construction activity will also include dump trucks entering the construction site from Ian Macdonald Boulevard onto the Common Diversion Road and exiting via York Boulevard through the Common.

Traffic flag personnel will direct pedestrians and construction vehicles at the northeast end of the Common Diversion Road.

As construction progresses at the York University Station site, notices will continue to be issued.

Questions or concerns regarding this modification can be directed to Nicole Arsenault, manager, Transportation Services, at narsenau@yorku.ca or 416-736-5866.
