UIT upgrading Lotus Notes

During the month of August, staff in University Information Technology (UIT) will be upgrading Lotus Notes to the latest version. This upgrade will have no impact on users’ daily Lotus Notes operation or usage and no changes will be required on the desktop client. Webmail users will see some visual differences including a new, more simplified web interface with the same functionality as before. To view the changes, visit the Staff Computing Lotus Notes webpage.

As part of this upgrade, UIT will be also be doubling current mail quotas from one to two gigabytes (GB), and increasing the archive quota from four to five GB, for a total of seven GB mail storage space. The quota increase will be introduced when the upgrade is complete. More information will be provided as the project progresses.

For questions or concerns about the upgrade, contact UIT Client Services by email at askit@yorku.ca or visit https://askit.yorku.ca.
