Summer science camps engage children and youth with fun, high-impact learning

Encourage student success this summer by engaging your child’s mind with STEM programming within York University’s Faculty of Science. Children in Grades 3 to 8 can enrich their understanding of science through fun, hands-on activities that promote critical thinking, collaboration and inquiry-based learning.

Campers discover the fun in science with interactive experiments and activities while making friends and learning science fundamentals. Campers will explore topics such as:

  • Codemakers
  • Mysterious Mixtures
  • Science of Superheroes

In honour of York University hosting the 2015 Toronto Pan Am/ Parapan Am tennis and track and field events Science Explorations Summer Camps is offering “Biomechanics: The Science of Pan Am Sports.”

Campers will learn about the mechanics of the human body and take an in-depth look into the techniques athletes use to achieve human excellence in Pan Am sports. In addition to the co-ed camps, all-girl sections will be offered for Grades 5/6 and Grades 7/8.
