There will be a pedestrian walkway restriction on the north side of the Steacie Science & Engineering Library, between the Lassonde Building and the Petrie Science & Engineering Building, from Monday, June 15, to Tuesday, June 30. This is necessary for the installation of a concrete pad and a new generator. There will be appropriate directional signs and construction safety fencing in the restricted area.
The existing entrance and exit on the west side will still be accessible by using the walkway adjacent to the building, and the emergency exit will remain accessible in the event of an emergency. See the image below for specific details on the temporary walkway closure.
When travelling in the vicinity, please watch for and obey all signs for your safety and convenience. Occupants of adjacent buildings and pedestrians may encounter some construction-related noise during this time.
