TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games to hold information sessions on June 2

This summer, Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshoe region will host the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. This will be the largest international multi-sport event ever hosted in Canada. Toronto will host several competition and non-competition venues, including the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletics Stadium at York University and the Canadian Tennis Centre.

Toronto residents who live in the Jane and Finch communities, as well as local businesses and community organizations, are invited to attend an information session to learn more about general games information, as well as details on transportation, security and venue impacts. These information sessions will be held at the following times and locations:

  • York games information session for businesses and community organizations
    Tuesday, June 2, from 3 to 5pm
    York University-TD Community Engagement Centre, second floor, Yorkgate Mall
  • York games information session for residents
    Tuesday, June 2, from 6 to 8pm
    Christian Centre Church, Main Gym, 4545 Jane Street (south of Shoreham Road)
