On Tuesday, the Faculty will host an invitation-only Alumni Impact event featuring a talk by FES Professor Tim Leduc. The talk will focus on Five Decades of FES at York, a publication co-authored by Leduc and the late David Morley, who is fondly remembered for his significant impact during his time as both an FES professor and dean.

The publication discusses the pivotal role education has consistently played in exploring and addressing critical environmental issues that grow direr with every passing day. It examines the increasing prevalence of environmental studies among national educational institutions through the unique point of view of York University’s Faculty of Environmental Studies, the first Faculty of its kind in North America.
