Revised: University libraries will be offline on Nov. 16

Scott Libraries collaboratory

The Scott Library is scheduled to have a power shutdown beginning Sunday, Nov. 16 at 12:01am and ending at 8am (new update). As a result, any Internet services provided by the York University Libraries will be unavailable for this period of time. This will encompass

  • access to the library website (including web pages for all library branches except the Osgoode Hall Law Library),
  • the library catalogue,
  • any electronic resources to which the library provides access, including all databases, ebooks, and electronic journals, and
  • any library resources embedded within courses in Moodle.

The power shutdown is scheduled to allow the Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence building and the Pan Am Stadium to be connected to the power grid.

The Scott Library is scheduled to open at noon on Sunday and all library Internet services will be available at that time.
