Due to necessary watermain modifications, a temporary water disruption and sidewalk closure is required at the Atkinson Building on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8:30am to 3pm.
How will this impact the York community?
- Pedestrians normally using Library Lane will be detoured around the associated work site.
- The contractor performing the work will be available at all times to direct pedestrian traffic around the construction site.
- The water shutdown will affect washrooms in the buildings. Alternate washrooms can be found in adjacent buildings.
When travelling throughout the construction zone, please watch for and obey all traffic signs and traffic control personnel.
