Muay Thai moveWant to get fit and try the ancient art and sport of Muay Thai or Krav Maga?

Muay Thai classes will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 1:30 to 3pm or Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5 to 6:30pm, beginning Sept. 22 until Nov. 24 in Studio 2, Tait McKenzie Centre. (No class on Oct. 13 or 27 to 30).

The ancient art and sport of Muay Thai was originally developed by the people
of Thailand as a combat tool and is currently an integral part of Thai culture
and history. It is now a competitive ring sport that hosts the best conditioned
athletes in non-stop explosive action. No experience is required.

Krav Maga classes will run Tuesdays and Thursdays, from noon to 1:30pm, Sept. 23 to Nov. 24 in Studio 2.

Krav Maga is a very practical self-defense system developed in the 40s by a
community aimed to protect civilians from street violence. Krav Maga uses the
natural reactions of the human body to provide various defensive techniques
against various unarmed and armed attacks and situations.

The cost for the martial arts classes is for students and members $125, and for non-members $155.
