Due to necessary repairs to York University’s utility infrastructure, construction will take place on the southwest corner of Founders Residence on Friday, Aug. 29, from 6:30am to approximately 12pm.
This work will affect the domestic and hot water supply to:
- Founders Residence
- Founders College
- Vanier Residence
How will this impact the York community?
- Pedestrian traffic will be routed away from the immediate work area.
- Some noise and vibration in the immediate area can be expected.
- Washrooms and drinking faucets will be available in adjacent buildings.
The contractor performing the work will be available at all times to assist with vehicle and pedestrian movement around the site when necessary. When travelling throughout the construction zone, watch for and obey all traffic signs and/or traffic control personnel.
