A date with innovation

The ways in which undergraduate students learn – and want to learn – are changing, according to speakers at an upcoming event celebrating academic innovation at York University.

On May 9, you are invited to join the second annual celebration of innovation in teaching and learning at York University. You will hear colleagues discuss how a number of innovative eLearning, experiential education and first-year transition projects are improving the student experience at York.

Learn how they are using innovative new techniques to enhance the classroom experience, ease first-year students into university with an online enrolment advising system, course-based peer mentoring, and more.

The event will take place in the Tribute Communities Recital Hall, Accolade East Building on York’s Keele campus.  There are a few seats available, register now for this empowering event by contacting Suharshi Perera at extension 55280, or by e-mail to sperera@yorku.ca.
